The Quick Cliff Notes Version of What Happened During the Living or Napping While Black Hate Crime Hoax at Yale
My tale at Yale is long and convoluted. It really is insane what happened to me.
In a nutshell: I stood up for the Fed Civil Rights of an Evangelical Black man on Yale’s campus in my first year in the philosophy PhD Program at Yale, in Spring 2015, and everything went downhill from there.
I was initially ostracized by most of the other philosophy grad students who would literally get up and walk out of a room, if I walked into it. It devastated me to the point that I sought mental health treatment while at Yale, a point of which much was made by the Administration and my tormentors during the Living or Napping While Black Hate Crime Hoax at Yale.
I became a target of the Yale Admin at this time, because the philosophy grad students were not content to have made me a social pariah within the philosophy department, and they went to the Yale Administration to have me disciplined and even expelled for being an unWoke civil libertarian and Free Speech advocate who opposes hate crime legislation as grossly unconstitutional. I was widely known and despised across Yale’s campus as an unWoke anti-LGBTQ bigot. I experienced multiple incidents of harassment in student housing related to my pariah status.
This is why, when Lolade Siyonbola and Jean Louis Reneson went to the Yale Administration after the non-event on February 24th, 2018, during which I was the only person who was harassed, and falsely accused me of having perpetrated a racist hate crime comparable to a lynching, the Yale Administration were thrilled to embrace this obviously false accusation. In truth, I worked on the issues of implicit bias and police brutality with the Justice Collaboratory at Yale Law School.
The Yale Administration wanted me to participate in a Maoist struggle session, a town hall, at which I was supposed to profess my racism and help teach the other members of the Yale community how not to be racist like me. I told them to go jump in a lake. I threatened legal action if they continued to harass me. And, I demanded retractions of all of the false statements about me.
So, this is when the Yale Administration decided to participate in the Living or Napping While Black Hate Crime Hoax at Yale. They wanted me expelled. They wanted me dead. I now believe that the Yale Admin was actually instructing Lolade Siyonbola and Jean Louis Reneson on what to do. I was stalked across campus and terrorized in my isolated Yale dorm room for months. I begged the Yale Admin and Yale Campus Police Chief Ronnell Higgins to stop the harassment. They repeatedly assured me that I could call the campus police at any time for any reason whatsoever, even if I was unsure if such a call was necessary.
When Lolade Siyonbola filmed me on May 8th, 2018, I didn’t even know I was being filmed. I now know that this was a last ditch effort before flying home to Nigeria the next day to wreak her vengeance upon me for her delusional, obsessive personal vendetta against me.
The Yale Admin led the subsequent global vilification and defamation campaign against me, including in the Fake News Press, in an effort to get me killed and destroy my life and career. My life has been destroyed. I am still deluged by death and rape threats. I am still more or less in hiding. My lifelong human and civil rights academic and legal careers are over. I am defamed to this day, on an almost daily basis, as a genocidal villain who tries to lynch Black students at Yale via the Yale Campus Police.
I am pursuing legal action against Yale and the CT FOI Commission to secure the Yale Police body camera footage from May 8th, 2018, to release it to the public. We have an appeal in the courts.
I did get press initially when I appealed to the CT FOI Commission, but this was only because the mainstream press thought that they could generate more moral outrage industry money by vilifying me all over again. No one is covering my current appeal.
I have a FERPA request, which Yale said that they would honor, but I have yet to receive anything, and I no longer have hope that this is any kind of an indication that the Yale Corporation has come to their senses.
I have a blog, where I have released a ton of pdf’s of documents and emails. I have a YouTube channel that hasn’t taken off as I would have liked, but it has definitely helped me get the truth out there, and I am very active on Twitter. I lost my Twitter account at the end of 2019, but I fought tooth and nail to get it back, and I finally did, obviously.
That’s my story in a nutshell. Like I said, it’s pretty insane. Class also played a huge role in what happened to me at Yale. I was also despised for being a crazy, old poor white trash interloper who dared to be unWoke and who was very successful.
I am hoping to appear on another podcast this coming weekend.
At this point, I think everyone is pretending that I don’t exist, so that they won’t be held accountable for what they did to me.
I just said today that I think I’m constitutionally incapable of walking away until I achieve some semblance of Justice, not just for me, but for all of the cancelled.
I will not rest until we have restored Due Process and Equal Protection at Yale and Smith College and on campuses across the US and everywhere.
